The Clinic

NewU Physio is a physiotherapy, TCM acupuncture and rehabilitation clinic owned and operated by Julie Bossé, located in Orléans. We strive to exceed the client experience in an ethical, professional, and compassionate manner. Our goal is to help patients improve their health, to achieve and maintain the highest standard of living available to them.

Julie was born and raised in Orléans. She has spent her life pursuing her passions, both on and off the ice. Her dedication led her to six National ringette tournaments in her youth, and to follow her dream to become a physiotherapist and open her own clinic within the community that she loves so much. Julie’s continuous pursuit of knowledge and specialization in areas such as the head, neck, and jaw, as well as cranial nerves, make her a sought-after expert in these domains. Her hands-on approach, thoroughness, vast knowledge, and patient empowerment approach further set her apart.

Hannah grew up in Nova Scotia but made her way to Ottawa in 2009 to complete her education. She helps her patients by addressing acute and chronic pain management, hormone imbalances, women’s health, and stress and anxiety. Her goal is to provide individualized, evidence-based treatments that not only make patients feel better now, but also enjoy lasting well-being for years to come.

With an extensive background in competitive dance, her commitment to an active lifestyle developed her passion for helping others live a healthy and active life. Isabelle’s compassionate approach centers around providing patients with a personalized hands-on treatment and providing each patient with the tools to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Meet Charles, a dedicated physiotherapist whose life’s journey has revolved around his passion for health, sports, the great outdoors, and his family. With a wealth of experience in treating sports and orthopaedic conditions, he possesses a remarkable skill set, including expertise in manual therapy, dry needling, and the renowned McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®. His dedication to improving the well-being of his patients extends beyond the clinic, as he firmly believes in the power of at-home exercise programs to empower individuals on their healing journeys.

Dustin moved from Manitoba to Ottawa in 2006 for an adventure and to further her education. She has a passion for helping people by listening to their story and connecting the pieces to get to the root of the problem—because “it’s all connected.” Dustin also loves exploring new techniques through continuing education courses, always looking for ways to help her patients improve daily function and quality of life.

Stephanie found her calling in health care as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has had the opportunity to continue her learning throughout her career with focuses on preventive therapies including myofunctional therapy. She has seen firsthand the positive impact it has on oral and overall health. Her enthusiasm, passion and emphasis on personalized care helps patients determine and achieve their goals.

Carine was born and raised in the beautiful Laurentians of Quebec before making her way to the Canadian Arctic and eventually settling in Eastern Ontario. As an acupuncturist, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve better health and well-being through individualized, evidence-based care. She provides treatment for a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and sleep concerns, with a special interest in women’s health, fertility challenges, menopause, and hormonal imbalance. She believes in treating the whole person, combining the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with current research to create personalized treatment plans that support both immediate symptom relief and long-term wellness. 

Before becoming an acupuncturist, Carine worked as a doula, a lactation peer supporter, and a yoga instructor; experiences that deepened her passion for supporting people through every stage of life. She is committed to patient education and empowering individuals to better understand their health so they can make informed decisions about their care.

Courtney, originally from Orléans, is our friendly clinic manager. Between her experience raising her three active and busy kids, and her 15 years as an early childcare educator, Courtney possesses skills in organization, communication, compassion, and teamwork. Her leadership role in childcare highlighted her supportiveness, easy-going nature, and a constant smile. Courtney is dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives and is excited to bring her skills to customer service and management at NewU Physio.

Dustin Palsson
Physiothérapeute

Dustin a quitté le Manitoba en 2006 pour s’installer à Ottawa afin de vivre une nouvelle aventure et de poursuivre ses études. Sa passion est d’aider les gens, en écoutant leur histoire afin de relier les éléments entre eux pour aller au coeur du problème; car selon elle, « tout est relié ». Dustin aime également explorer de nouvelles techniques apprises dans le cadre de cours de formation continue.  Elle est toujours à la recherche de nouveaux moyens pour aider ses patients à améliorer leurs fonctions quotidiennes et leur qualité de vie.

Michelle channels her compassion and competence as a Medical Receptionist, ensuring patients find a warm and professional haven when they walk through the clinic’s doors.

Veronique
Véronique Audet
Physiotherapist

Véronique’s passion for neurologic physiotherapy was sparked by her work with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada where she learned about some of the daily challenges people living with neurological conditions face. In working with many clients living with chronic pain as part of her physiotherapy practice, Véronique recently embarked on a journey to seek continued education focusing on a whole person approach to pain management.

Véronique offers both in-clinic and in-home services for her patients.

With a focus on sports and orthopedics, she has helped numerous patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and accidents, enhancing their quality of life. Nadine has also furthered her clinical knowledge and skills with additional cranio-cervical and temporomandibular joint rehabilitation training.
